We study the symptom-disease model in children. We use Fuzzy Cognitive Maps to obtain the hidden pattern existing between symptom and diseases. We apply this mathematical tool because it allows experts to represent factual and evaluative concepts in an interactive framework. Experts can dissent or consent to the local causal structure and perhaps the global equilibrations. It also allows us to encode the experts knowledge or ignorance, wisdom or prejudice. We thus study the various symptoms, and the corresponding diseases they indicate. The study is free from any prejudice as all experts are given equal weightage.
