Homoeopathic medicines are given to persons largely depending on their personality traits. For there may be several medicines for a particular symptom/ disease but it is based on the personality, the particular medicine is chosen. Personality does not imply only the physical outlook but it also includes the total nature of the person like jovial, social, temperamental, harsh, kind etc. In this dissertation we construct and study the Personality Medicine model of a patient for Homeopathic medicine using Fuzzy associative memories. The very term personality is an attribute and is a quality that cannot be very precisely assigned a value for it varies from person to person, time to time and circumstance to circumstance. For a person say a peon by profession, behaviour at home would be entirely different from the office. At home he is a bread-winner, at the office he is a peon.
To study the personality medicine relationship we have used fuzzy theory in general and Fuzzy Associative memories (FAM) in particular to analyze the problem. We have specifically chosen this for it is the only tool which can give gradations between preferences. This research is a very beneficial one if for each symptom each of these medicines are graded depending on the personalities of patients.
