The solid wastes disposed from hospitals, chemical industries, plastic industries and leather industries can create chronic disease, accidents and infections if not disposed properly. But in India nobody bothers about the disposal of the solid wastes from these five primary sources. Further the first and foremost affected persons because of these improperly disposed wastes are children whose living is by rag-picking.
Secondly the government employed scavengers whose job is to dispose these solid wastes from one destination to another. Recycling of these solid wastes too carry health risks if proper precautions are not taken. Workers working with wastes may experience toxic reactions. Disposal of health care waste requires special attention since it can create major health hazards like Hepatitis B and C, through wounds caused by discarded syringes as the children may sustain injuries and come in direct contact with these infectious items. Certain chemicals if released untreated can cause death. Some studies show these chemicals can cause cancer to residents exposed to hazardous waste. Many studies have been carried out about the influence of the hazardous waste on the health.
We adopt multi-fuzzy neural network method to study these problems, as the most affected by these wastes are the poor, the poor children employed, as rag pickers in contrast to these persons who produce the hazardous wastes are industrialists and rich class people. Since it involves lots of inexpressible concepts and feelings, we feel it appropriate to use neural networks to analyze them.
